In addition to myFreestyle blades I am now offering a Touring blade and a River/Creek paddle.
As always, I will make custom paddles for most any purpose, to meet your specifications.
I now have paddle socks and paddle cases available. I will post pictures and descriptions of them shortly. Until they are posted please call or email for more information.

Custom Freestyle Paddles
Basic features include:
Laminated red cedar shaft with white ash facing.
Laminated red cedar blade with white ash reinforcing/highlight strips and cross laminated white sah tip.
Edges of blade trimmed with triple pinstripe of white ash and dark contrasting wood.
Blade is sheathed with 4 ounce fiberglass and epoxy.
Fiberglass/epoxy chip guard on blade tip.
White ash grip blocks
Entire paddle is sealed with epoxy and three coats of varnish.
Standard lengths up to 60" LOA (41" shaft length)
Typical paddle weight is approximately 19 oz. Weight varies by paddle length and wood density.

Optional features:
Custom laminating - woods, colors and species - add $75.00
Note: Some exotic species may cost more. Inquire before ordering.
Gunnel guards (hardwood pads to protect the shaft @ rt. angles to the shaft faces) - Add $75.00
Hollow shaft - reduces paddle weight by approx. 2 oz. Add $75.00
Mat finish on grip and lower portion of the shaft - Add $25.00
Shaft length over 41" (LOA over 60") - Add $25.00
Touring Paddles Similar to Freestyle Paddles except:
Blade is sheathed with 6 oz. fiberglass instead of 4 oz. Edges of the blade are trimmed with Dynel and epoxy in place of the triple lamination Blade is slightly thicker than the freestyle blade Typical paddle weight is approximately 21 oz.

River/Creek Paddles
Basic features include:
Laminated red cedar shaft with white ash facing
Laminated red cedar blade and cross laminated white ash tip
Blade edges and tip are trimmed and protected with a dynel reinforced epoxy guard.
The blade is sheathed with 6 oz. fiberglass with a nicely finished, woven cloth texture.
White ash grip blocks
Entire paddle is sealed with epoxy and three coats of varnish
Standard lengths up to 60" LOA (41" shaft length)
Typical paddle weight is approximately 23 oz. Weight varies by paddle length and wood density
